Google Chrome

  1. In Google Chrome, click on the Tools drop-down menu, and then select Clear Browsing Data.

  2. On the Clear Browsing Data dialog window, make sure that the Clear Browsing History checkbox is selected, and click the Clear Browsing Data button. This will clear your browsing history, and return you to the Google Chrome web browser.

Incognito Mode

Google Chrome also comes with an Incognito mode, which prevents web pages from being tracked in the browser history, and does not leave other traces on your computer.

  1. In Google Chrome, click on the Tools drop-down menu, and select the New Incognito Window option.

  2. A new Incognito window is launched. Use this window to visit web sites that you do not want tracked. Google Chrome - Incognito window
